The United Way is excited to share with the community our new focus on EDUCATION, INCOME and HEALTH. We brought together a group of local content experts, United Way donors and United Way partner agency representatives, who met monthly from January 2013 through May 2013 to help create community-level goals that are unique to the issues facing Paducah and McCracken County. We invite you to click below to view our Community Impact Plans for each focus area.
Our Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion
We recognize structural racism, ethnic discrimination and other forms of oppression have contributed to disparities that have existed in the past and persist in the present. We acknowledge those inequities are the result of policies and practices that work to marginalize entire populations of people. We unequivocally denounce racism/ethnic discrimination because it undermines the well-being and vitality of our communities. The United Way of Western Kentucky works with public and private partners to co-create solutions that ensure everyone has the resources, support, opportunities, and networks they need to thrive.
Our Commitment to our Donors' Privacy
We will not see, share, or trade our donors' names or personal information with any other entity, nor send mailings to our donors on behalf of other organizations. This policy applies to all information received by United Way of Western Kentucky, both online and offline, on any platform ('platform' includes the United Way website and social media platforms), as well as electronic, written, or oral communications. To the extent any donations are processed through a third-party service provider, our donors' information will only be used for purposes necessary to process the donation.
